Dr. Fluehr Ersoy is a psychologist specializing in working with children, adolescents, and young adults offering a compassionate and holistic approach to mental well-being. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University, with a minor in Spanish, Dr. Fluehr Ersoy is academically well-rounded, having also studied abroad in Seville, Spain. Prior to pursuing a PsyD in School Psychology at Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), Dr. Fluehr Ersoy gained valuable experience as a research assistant at both the NYU Child Study Center and the Behavioral Science Unit at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
With a dedicated focus on the mind/body connection, Dr. Fluehr Ersoy has honed a specialized skill set for individuals navigating medical illnesses. The professional journey includes training experiences in the New Jersey Public School system, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Fluehr Ersoy completed an APPIC Internship at Geisinger Medical Center, further enriching her clinical expertise. Dr. Fluehr Ersoy values evidence-based practice and is not only a consumer of literature but has contributed to the field through her various publications.
Having worked at a private practice in Annapolis while pursuing state licensure, Dr. Fluehr Ersoy has recently embarked on an independent venture, establishing her own private practice. Dr. Fluehr Ersoy’s commitment to the well-being of her clients is reflected in her comprehensive training, diverse experiences, and unwavering dedication to fostering mental health in young individuals.
